Restaurant has good food.. TV at booths.. Decent selection for truckers.. Fair prices.

I read a previous review touting an "enormous parking lot". Well, it IS enormous, but it appears to be parking for local drivers who park their cars in spots to save them for their return from the road. I arrived at 9:45 PM, having passed up many truck stops with vacancies, to park in the enormous parking lot. It was completely full. About 70% of the parked trailers, day cabs, dump trucks, 4-wheelers, etc, appeared to be based out of this lot. I was heading for the exit when a guy pulled out, and I backed in, after driving all around the mostly dirt lot. Don't waste your time on this place. Stop in York if traveling East. I won't be stopping here again.

Special ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches yesterday, cook did a fantastic job on them.😀👍

Ladies in there are really friendly and quick to serve with a smile. Food is excellent. I have had pies, ice-cream, open face chili burger, the burrito, and a country breakfast. I'm my opinion the menu had top notch food and perfect portions. Over all the truck stop is very clean. Check out the merchandise in the store. You won't be disappointed.

Wide menu of choices, great service, and friendly faces. That and the atmosphere of the place make this a great stop for truck driver and family alike.

Service was friendly, and the food came out very quickly, so I would recommend this restaurant for somewhere to stop when time is an important factor in choosing where to eat.The food was fine, average probably being an accurate word. The prices were a little high relative to the quality of food in my opinion.

So, maybe I was just tired of driving and fast food, but I swear that my fried eggs, toast, and a salad were the best I'd ever had...Anyway, it's a cute little cafe at a truck stop that has good service and good food. There are all kinds of things to look at, too.it was definitely a welcomed pit stop, after so many miles.

Good food plastic silverware people didn't seem enthusiastic about being there but the nostalgia made up for everything else

Stopped in the other day for something to eat. Went inside restaurant sat down waited 15 minutes, nothing,no one came to serve and they were not busy. So I got up.walked by subway (sick of subway) end up having to eat those tasteless sandwiches at every truck stop. So I went to the c-store side to see what they had to eat there,which was not much so I got the brilliant idea I would go back to restaurant and sit in another section, nothing,no service.3 seconds before I left waitress walked by and said I will be with you in a minute,I got up loudly said minutes up 29 minutes ago and walked out.went back to the c+store and ended up getting an old rib sandwich and a Luke warm cup of chili. Such a disappointment. When they were across the street it was awesome. Even the cashier had an attitude. What's going on in Lincoln Nebraska?

Always a fantastic breakfast and prompt service! Veggie omelette was delicious - fresh veggies cooked before being put in the eggs. Makes a huge difference.

They got pie!! Sounds simple really but its getting harder n harder for drivers to get a nice slice of good pie anymore.

Food was great.. My waitress was excellent 👍 and the old style gas pumps and oil cans theme was awesome!

Nice stop for a combination of reasons for both old school and young blood Truckers. Great food served up right. Us veterans of OTR always liked to goof off with the staff. This , to me, is far better than fast food served up by a quick thanks immediately followed by a " NEXT!". Can't stand those places. I enjoy stopping at SHOEMAKERS.

I'm always grateful for a place to park and this place is great but these dropped trailers need to be cleaned out of here.

Very friendly, quick service. We had our 4 year old grandson with us and the waitress talked to him. She then asked if he could have animal crackers (out of his earshot) and gave him a packet for later. The food was good and hot when delivered. Grandson also liked all the old trucks and planes.

Always like to stop in and grab a bite.Parking lot is very messy and disorganized, turn down a row and then have to back up around two corners.But generally always find a spot.

This place is hands down one of the best restaurants in the entire country. It's got an old timey 50's kinda atmosphere. Excellent,fast,and friendly service. And the food is fantastic. I eat here every chance I get. I love the western omelette. Very delicious. This place also has excellent steaks and desserts. Prices are very affordable. Portions are massive. And well worth every penny.

Good place to stop by.. it takes you thru the past of real America traveling guide and how it was done back then.. nice food and good service..

If you see the big bags of "Nebraska's Best Popcorn", buy it! Also the $2 giant granola bars are the best I've ever had.

Great dining room! Lot's of museum quality things to enjoy! The food is good too.

The server was great, the manager worked with us to get our gift certificate approved and the food was hot and tasty. What more could you ask? Of course...the decor- early American farmer! A blast from the past matching the traditional food.

The decor was 50s style kitsch with all kinds of throwbacks to gas stations and signs. So nostalgic. The service was excellent and the food so delicious. Please stop in and get some friendly service and great eats.

Don't know how to give 4.5 stars. Or I would have. Great food, very laege portions. Prices a little on the high side for the area, but on average for a truck stop. Service excellent.

The food was excellent and the staff friendly. I really enjoyed the trucks decorated for the holidays. This was my first visit and I will definitely go back.

Good food and lots of old relics. The store has vaping needs, truck supplies, and huge selection of snacks & drinks.

Serves liver and onions dinnerbl and it was delicious! Many options to choose from, and tasty breakfast choices also.

Thier games are terrible and I never win stay away from those machines everyone it's very addicting

Great place & food. My friend had the chicken fried steak & eggs. He’s a foodie type of guys & said it was one of the best he had had. I had the Reuben sandwich & it was amazingly flavorful. The onion rings were also good. My friend was a bit disappointed in the bacon though. But overall amazing!

Hello their folks, got a chance to eat at show makers restaurant in Lincoln Nebraska. Folks lot of food to consider for breakfast lunches and supper. 5 gold stars for this restaurant and my waitress.

The decor was characteristic of 50's with good service and reasonably priced food.

We had a great dinner with a great friend who is a truck driver they have good food for a good price great service as well
